This song was recorded a few years back in Canada, and though it hasn't yet seen the light of day, my good friend and engineer/producer on this song Eddie Lucciola was kind enough to do an entire remix of the song, so this is the 2020 remix if you will! I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did making it.
I put a lot of things into this song, and I hope it captures for you some essence of those thoughts and emotions that I tried to instil within it. It was written sometime during the beautiful, freezing Canadian winter, I think it captures that darkness, as well as hope and reassurance too.

Sweetwater - Lyrics
It's getting dark too dark to see,
the rain fell through the leaves,
getting cold too cold to stand,
the wind blow through the trees,
but there finally might be,
something for you and me,
I like to be alone,
on shallow streets of cobblestone,
hazy lights of street-lamps,
the only thing to light my path,
and in a vision softly sleeping,
I can't ask myself to care,
about you and her in those sunglasses,
just who do you think you are,
When you're staring into a mirror,
and a stranger stares back at you,
it just goes to show,
that you never really know,
when you're asking that mirror,
was all of this for you,
it just goes to show,
you don't really have a clue,
and you have to ask yourself was all of this for nothing,
It's getting dark too dark to see,
the rain fell through the leaves,
getting cold too cold to stand,
the wind blow through the trees,
but there finally might be,
something for you and me,
